About the practice
A small analytics studio for leadership decisions
Acacia Field Analytics is a registered forecasting and data visualization practice based in Jeonju. We prepare commissioned reports—not software—for executives who need chart-led evidence before major strategic moves.
Official business information
Registered name: Acacia Field Analytics
Established: 2016
Principal: Kim Yujin, Lead Analyst
Origin
Kim Yujin founded Acacia Field in 2016 after ten years preparing board materials for Jeollabuk-do manufacturers and regional export associations. Clients kept asking for the same thing: charts they could trust in a room full of sceptics. The practice grew from freelance briefing work into a dedicated studio on Jeonju-daero, where every report is still assembled by hand.
The name references the acacia trees along the Honam plain—markers of distance and direction that farmers used long before GPS. Our reports serve a similar purpose: fixed reference points for decisions made under uncertainty.
Working approach
We limit active engagements to eight concurrent projects so Kim Yujin remains the analyst on every flagship report. Charts are built in a consistent visual grammar—numbered axes, source footnotes, scenario shading—so board members can compare reports year over year without relearning formats.
We do not sell subscriptions, dashboards, or automated alerts. When a client needs ongoing monitoring, we offer the Quarterly Strategic Review—a four-page snapshot delivered each quarter, not a login screen.
Values
- Stated assumptions — Every forecast range lists its inputs. Hidden defaults erode trust.
- Restraint in claims — We show ranges, not false precision. Point estimates appear only when data supports them.
- Direct access — Clients speak with the analyst who built their charts, not an account manager.

Relationship to clients
Most clients are mid-size Korean firms—manufacturers, exporters, regional retailers—preparing for board meetings, bank covenant reviews, or market expansion. We also work with overseas subsidiaries of Korean companies that need locally grounded demand forecasts.
Engagements begin with a brief, proceed through a fixed quote, and conclude with a delivered report and briefing session. We maintain client confidentiality rigorously; case stories on this site use anonymised details unless written permission is granted.
